STC refuses to be absent in Sweden Talks
English - Saturday 08 December 2018 الساعة 07:55 amThe Southern Transitional Council (STC) confirmed on Friday its refusal to be absent in Sweden talks under the auspices of the United Nations.
The Council considered this move a repetition of the old and failed methods that led to wars and destruction by dividing the solutions and peace between the two extremes parties.
The Council also considered the move marginalizing the southern issue that is the key solution of the Yemeni crisis.
The Council expressed its regret over "the response of regional and international mediators to extort the legitimate and Houthi groups and their insistence on the absence of the southern issue and not to involve STC in the Sweden consultations.
The two parties, the Legitimacy and Houthis bear full responsibility for any repercussions or consequences of their failure or the relapse of the peace process in Yemen.
Any consultations neglect the Southern issue or any other consultation that the Southern Issue would not involve in they will not be obligated the People of the South or its issue.
The Council reiterated its openness and acceptance of the all peace endeavors that preserve the right of the Southern people, calling everyone to respect the South Will.
The Southern Transitional Council called on all forces along the southern territories to stand a united and to show the “conscious will” so as to resist the all means that to be taken to restore the south as was before March 2015.
