King Salman: Arab Alliance supporting legitimacy, saving Yemeni people

The King Salman bin Abdul Aziz said that the Arab alliance in Yemen came aiming at saving its people from a group overturning its legitimacy and misled its security and stability.
The speech came at thirty-ninth session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council held Sunday afternoon in Riyadh.
The King Salman said that the alliance countries have also worked to restore the hope to the Yemeni people through relief and humanitarian assistance programs.
The Saudi king stressed that the alliance countries will continue to support efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with Security Council resolution 2216, the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism, and the results of the Yemeni comprehensive national dialogue.
