Houthis close schools in al-Hodaidah before students

Local residents said to Newsyemen that the Houthi militia closed al-Tahrir Girls secondary school in al-Hodaidah city west Yemen in front of girls' students, and turned the school  into a military barracks.

The residents added that the Houthi militia deployed armed groups to be stationed inside the school, deploying  machine guns and military vehicle around it.

The militia stormed al-Salam School, and stopped the study, while the tens abductees of al-Hodaidah were moved by the Houthis, putting them at the school's buildin three floors.

Meanwhile, the Houthi militia organized a women's event at Harra primary and secondary school in al-Hawk district with the participation of Houthi women such as Nadia al-Hasani, Afrah al-Fadheel and Najeebah Edrees.

It is clear reported that the Houthi militia distributed sectarian and doctrinal curricula on kindergartens in al-Hodaidah, as well as on the first grades of basic education in all schools.

Earlier on Sunday, a private source said that the director of the Education Office in al-Hodaidah Abdu Bahr held a meeting of school principals in the Hawk district to develop a plan to mobilize students and send them to the battle ground.
