Houthis blow up 700 houses, open 117 secret prisons

Houthi group has committed more than 33,000 violations in the province of al-Hodeida, western Yemen, in four years, according to a recent report by Freedom Organization for Rights and Freedoms.

The report added that the violations of the Houthi militia included the crimes of the forcible displacement of the people, stressing that about 26,000 were forced displaced by the militia.

The report pointed out that the Houthi violations included killings more than 800 civilians were killed by the Houthis, including 50 civilians who died under torture.

According to the organization, it has been recorded about 2,000 civilians' kidnapping in al-Hodeida, noting that the Houthi militias, used 329 kidnappees  or detainees as human shields, and placed them in the places of military operations.

The report revealed also the creation 117 secret prisons in the province of al-Hodeida, the bombing of more than 700 homes and public and private facilities, in addition to the looting of 700 houses and a commercial store.
