Houthi shells injure five civilians in al-Hodeida

Five civilians, including two children, were injured, and 3 houses were destroyed on Saturday in Houthi artillery shelling on a village in Hais district in al-Hodeida province, west Yemen. 

A local source told Newsyemen that the Houthi militias fired dozens of artillery shells on Bait al-Maghari village, northwest Hais city, south al-Hodeida province. 

The shelling caused the burning and destroying three houses, injuring five civilians, including two baby girls. 

The shelling also caused the death of tens of livestock. 

A medical source in al-Khukha city said to Newsyemen that two 
baby girls and a woman and two boys, 20s, arrived at a hospital.

He added that a child and a woman were rushed to Aden city, south Yemen as being critically injured. 

Local sources in Hais district said that the Houthi militias forced dozens of families to flee the village of Bait al-Maghari towards the city center of the district. 

The sources confirmed that the Houthi militias exploded most houses in the village. 

Families who displaced their village to Hais city appealed the humanitarian organizations to provide their relief and shelter after being forced by the Houthi militias.
