Houthis sell medicines aid to pharmacies in al-Hodeida

Houthi gunmen in al-Hodeida city sell medicines to pharmacies and to drug stores, local sources said.

Al-Mena Pharmacy's owner explained that a Houthi gunman sold large quantities of medicines provided by international organizations and United Nations agencies as assistance to al-Hodeida and its districts.

The owner added that Houthi gunmen moved from one pharmacy to another that are supposed to go to the needy in the province's districts as free aid.

The militias negotiate with pharmacies' owners then the militias offered them less price after that they accepted to sell the medicines.

The militias confiscate large amounts of medical and pharmaceutical aid , as an aspect of theft and the deliberate looting of the relief aid illegally.

The sources added that ammunition are also sold to Janabee shops in the main market, known Bab Musharraf, in al-Hodeida city by the Houthi militias.
