Houthis force famers to pay 30,000 and "the One-fifth to support “War Effort”

The Houthi group has forced farmers in Zabeed and al-Tuhaita districts in al-Hodeida province to pay Y.R 30,000 and "the One-fifth of their agricultural production.

The Houthi militias spread their followers in the two districts to collect the income, the cash money and the One-fifth.

The farms' owners in al-Magras, al-Jabalia, al-Suwaiq, al-Madman, al-Shabeleya, al-Tarbia, Tarquta, and al-Madan in al-Tuhaita and Zabeed districts in al-Hodeida province.

The money and the One-Fifth that farmers are forced to pay to the Houthi in order to support "the War Effort"

The Houthi militias collected Y.R 90 million of 3000 farms in the two districts.

The Houthi followers gathered daily Y.R 600,000 to Y.R 800,000 per a day only for Okra.

Some owners said that their agricultural farms were planted by many Houthi landmines.

An owner in al-Nasseri valley said that the Houthi militias doubled landmines between al-Tuhaita city and al-Madman and al-Suwaiq areas, imposing royalties on the farmers.
Major farms were become forbidden for their owners and one who wants to approach just jet a shot by Houthi snipers.
