Shabwa Elite leader: Hadi's Legitimacy supply arms for al-Qaeda in Markha

The commander of Shabwa Elite Forces Lt. Col. Mohammad Salem al- Bawhar accused the military forces of the government of AbduRabu Mansour Hadi of supplying of al-Qaeda in Shabwa province, southeast Yemen, with weapons.
Lt. Col. Al- Bawhar said in a televised interview with the "Yemen in a Week" program on Abu Dhabi TV that the 30th infantry brigade of the Hadi and Islah Party work illegally to pass weapons as well as sell oil illegally.
Al-Bawhar confirmed it has been thwarted smuggling shipment of the silenced weapons shipment while on its way from Marib to Shabwa.
He added that Markha was under control of terrorist elements, adding that the latest security operation there came amid purge the province of terrorism.
Al- Bawhar accused the Committee formed by the Presidency of obstructing the security campaign in the region and of "cleansing" extremist elements in Markha area.
Bawhar confirmed the recruitment of terrorist elements from Marib and al-Baida, including the Baihan district to reinforce the required elements in Markha area in Shabwa.
Al- Bawhar pointed out that the Head of the Houthi Political Office, Mahdi al-Mashat met with Sheikh Saif al-Mehdhar in Sana'a a few days before the security operation in Markha.
