Armed gang in Taiz seizes perfumes, accessories shop

An armed gang seized a shop of Perfume and Accessories by force in the central province of Taiz, central Yemen, a security source said.

The source added that the armed gang led by "Sadiq al-Maqlou", a brother of a Senior Officer in a Military Brigade seized al-Taj al-Abyadh for Perfume and Accessories (The White Crown) in al-Mugtariben street in Taiz.

The gang looted the perfume and accessories in large bags after a week of the shop's owner refused to pay royalties for the armed gang.

Sadiq al-Maqlou, the brother of Lt. Col. Saddam Ali Qaid al-Faqih the commander of the 170th Air Defense, his nicknamed is al-Maqlou.

The shops in Taiz are constantly being robbed and looted by armed gangs of military leaders loyal to the Islah Party and allied to the "Legitimacy”.
