Amy liberates strategic sites in Sa’ada

The Army on Tuesday defeated the Houthi militias in the strategic sites in Sa'ada province, the stronghold of the militias in the north part of Yemen.

A military source said that al-Tahrir Units/ the Liberation Units Brigade took control of a series of Rashah mountain after heavy fighting against the Houthi militias.

The Houthi militias fled the battle ground, leaving the dead, the source added.  

The military source added that the army launched a large-scale military operation to liberate a series of Rashah mountain in Rashah area in Kutaf and al-Boqa district, north Sa'ada province.

The army set up its first government security point on the international road connecting Sa'ada city to the districts of Kutaf, Baqem and al-Baqa till the Saudi Arabia's border.

The army found a weapons cache in al-Kuleyah site near the asphalt line, some Houthi groups were captured during the military clashes.
