The Houthi militias on Saturday released Ms. Awfa al-Naami, the Yemen's director of the UK's Saferworld Country Director, after 18 days of kidnapping and enforced disappearance.

The armed militias kidnapped Ms. al-Naami along with Mr. Hassan al-Qutari and three other employees at the organization's office in Sana'a on Monday, Jan. 28.

Amnesty International has condemned the arbitrary detention of Yemeni human rights defender Ms. al-Naami by the Houthi security services in the Capital Sana'a.

Amnesty International said that the arbitrary detention of Ms. al-Naami is part of the systematic policies followed by the harassment, repression and persecution of the anti-Houthis' activists.
