Houthi militias detain trucks loaded with medical drugs in Ibb

The Houthi militias continue to detain the UNICEF trucks laden with medical drugs in customs recently established in Ibb province.

Local sources told Newsyemen that 40 trucks were on their way to al-Hodeida city they were seized in the customs created in Ibb province by the he Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (SBDMA).

The Houthis continue to detain a shipment of medicines at the Customs in Maitam arrea in the eastern part of the province, at a time a medical shipment disappeared that had arrived for free of charge to the health office there.

The sources said that the Houthi militias detained the free shipment medicines dedicated to dialysis provided for patients with kidney failure in Ibb.

According to the sources, the militias are seeking to detain the shipment to obtain large funds to pass the shipment of medicines without taking care of patients with kidney failure.
