Houthi's attempt to circumvent on Sweden Agreement

Informed sources revealed a new Houthis' attempt to circumventing on the Sweden agreement's items over al-Hodeida city and its seaports.

The Houthi militias plans to take unilateral steps on a formal withdrawal from al-Hodeida city and its seaports, with the participation of the head of the UN observer team in Yemen, the Danish Michael Lollesgaard.

According to sources, the head observer intends to remove the forces from the three ports and the city, and hand over the administration to the current Houthi authority, while the file of security and the local authority will be postponed.

The first and second stages of al-Hodeida Agreement are an integral part and must be implemented according to the agreement after it agreed upon as whole terms," the Brigadier Sadiq Duwaid, a member of the government team at the tripartite military committee said.

Duwaid stressed in a tweet on his Twitter account that it is a must to decide on the status of Local Authority and the Security in accordance with Yemeni law and international references, including returning the displaced persons, and those who have been removed from their jobs.
