New Houthi shelling ignites fires at Thabet Brothers' Compound in al-Hodeida city

The Houthi militias pounded again Thabet Brothers Industrial Compound in al-Hodeida city two days after the UN envoy for Yemen praised the armed militias and their leader's commitment to peace according the Sweden agreement.

The Houthi militias attacked the Compound as part of their continued violations of the UN sponsor ceasefire, and the armed militias' military escalation in al-Hodeida.

A military media source at the National Resistance, the guards of the Republic, said that the armed militias bombed in the early hours of Thursday dawn mortar shells and hit the Compound directly despite the absence of any military objective of the Joint Resistance.

The source confirmed that the shelling caused a huge fire in one of the Hangar destroyed most of its contents, noting that the rescue teams of the guards of the Republic rushed immediately to participate with industrial compound's workers to extinguish the fire.

It is worth to mention that the Compound, which extends over large areas between the streets of Sana'a and the 50 inside al-Hodeida city was subjected to direct shelling several times by the Houthi militias.

The Houthi shelling caused the severe damage to various facilities. The Camera of the military media documented the moment the rescue teams participated in the extinguished the fire.

The Houthi militias carried out on Thursday evening, for the second day in a row, a failed infiltration attempt towards the areas of the Joint Resistance control in Sana'a street as part of the armed militias' escalation inside al-Hodeida city with the intransigence in the implementation of the Stockholm agreement.
