December 2nd Uprising was not created by chance, but it was the culmination of a long and arduous battle fought by the General People's Congress under the leadership of the Martyr Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Secretary General Aref al-Zoka who both were martyred in the Capital Sana'a in confronting the Houthi project for three years.

The December Uprising came to preserve the State's institutions, stop the increasing of financial and administrative corruption as well as stop the destruction of the army and security institution, the Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh said.

The Brigadier General Tariq Saleh continued: "After the conclusion of the political agreement between the GPC and the Houthis, our firmly conviction have been strengthened that the Houthi group has no vision to run the State or a project to achieve internal peace among the Yemeni people, and establish normal relations with neighboring countries.

The Houthi group destroys the State institutions in parallel with the construction of Houthi Institutions whether in the government or the army and security, and even at the level of political work and the structure of the Yemeni tribe, the Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh said.

The goals of the Houthi group in Yemen form in gathering and looting funds of the public treasury and tampering with the national identity; moreover, the Houthi group implements the Iranian agenda and destabilizes the security and stability of Yemen, Tariq Saleh said.
