The Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have announced a $ 1 billion to fund the humanitarian emergency response plan in Yemen.

The UN's "Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen" in 2019 revolves around five key priority goals: the first objectivce is to help millions of people overcome hunger, while the second goal is to reduce the spread of cholera and infectious diseases.The third objective is to enhance the dignity of displaced families, while the fourth is to reduce the risk of displacement and violence against civilians. The fifth purpose is to maintain the capacity of public sector institutions to provide basic life-saving services."

On 18 February, the United Nations and its humanitarian partners launched a humanitarian response plan for Yemen, which seeks $ 4.2 billion to provide life-saving assistance to 21.4 million people this year," Lise Grande, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen, said.

The director of King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief Abdullah Al Rabeeah announced that Saudi Arabia donated $ 500 million to fund the United Nations humanitarian response plan for Yemen.

The UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimi said that the UAE takes all steps to help Yemenis overcome their plight and announced that UAE provides 500 million dollars to help Yemenis.

Kuwait has allocated $ 250 million to support humanitarian work in Yemen.
