35th brigade intercepts explosives in Taiz on their way to militias

A military checkpoint of the 35th Armored Brigade in al-Aqrodh area in Sabr in Taiz province intercepted a material shipment used to make explosives on their way to the areas controlled by the Houthi militias in Demnat Khadeer.

"The truck is medium-sized, dedicated for fish transport, and is coated with fiberglass," said Maj. Wahib al-Yusufi.

Inside the truck 243 camouflaged materials, looked like spare parts for small and medium size motorcycles hidden under fish, the Major said, adding that the material was a shipment of improvised explosives, he added.

He added that militias use these materials, which are a small and medium spherical iron materials mixed with TNT to form very dangerous improvised devices.

He said that these materials produce a large number of deadly and fast-spreading fragments, which are manufactured by the militias with Iran's expertise in order to infect as many as possible in the vicinity of the explosion of the improvised device.

The General Command honored the 35th Brigades' security checkpoint for their vigilance and scrutiny during the inspection so as to combat the smuggling routes used by the militias to finance its brutal war against the people of Taiz and all the Yemenis.
