Hajjah Organizations denounce international silence over Hajoor

A statement issued by the Alliance Human Rights Organizations in Hajjah province revealed the killing of 52 civilians, including two children, three women and four elderly people, and injuring about 181 others, including 7 women and nine children, some of them seriously injured and requiring urgent surgical intervention.

The statement pointed out that the Houthi militias' bombing forced 48,000 people to flee, representing 2,200 families, taking shelters at 22 schools which also being targeted indiscriminately.

The armed militias seized 126 private farms and destroyed 25 farms by targeting them with shells, while the militias prevented water from 247 farms, which are destroyed as well, according to the statement.

In addition, 1750 houses were severely damaged, 115 schools were destroyed, some 20,000 students were forced to leave education, 45 schools were shelled, and 8 other schools were transformed into Houthi militias' barracks.

In February, 16 people were reported loss their unconscious, and pregnancies' women were aborted, while a number of children were urinated, as a result of fear of violent explosions.

The popular markets in Hajoor were also attacked by the brutality of the Houthi terrorist militias.

The Houthi shelling destroyed five markets and deprived 2,500 families of merchants and workers of their trade and a source of their monthly incomes.

Human rights groups described the Houthi crimes against civilians as war crimes. The militias siege 141,000 people and prevented the entry of food, water and medicine through the establishment of 14 military points from all sides.
