Army accuses al-Jawf governor of betraying over agreement with the militias

The sixth military region, led by Hashim al-Ahmar, accused Sheikh Amin al-Okaimi, the commander of al-Jawf military axis of betraying the national army through agreements with the al-Houthi militias.

The Colonel Abdullah al-Ashraf, the spokesman of the sixth region said that al-Jawf governor al-Okaimi holds an agreement with the Houthi militias that his countryside will be safe for both parties to the conflicts, and when the army moves al-Okaimi's countryside, ambushes and landmines are happened against the army.

"It is no surprise that we are engaged in a relentless war in our land and in our areas against the Houthis in past three years, because we want to liberate,” the Colonel Abdullah al-Ashraf said. 

"But it is strange that the governor of al-Jawf had agreed with the Houthis that his region will be safe for war clashes", when the national army advanced forward from the governor area then the army suffers from ambushes and mines.
