Militias arrest Imam, Friday's Khatib accusing of wiping out Houthis' motto in al-Mahweet

The Houthi militias kidnapped the father of the Media journalist Samir al-Nemri in al-Mahweet province, west of the Capital Sana'a.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in Oman said in a post on Facebook that the Houthis arrested his father, 60, on Sunday evening, taken him with Friday's Khatib to one of the armed militias' prison in al-Mahweet province.  

Al-Nemri pointed out that the militias kidnapped his father and Khatib of Friday's prayer in the village accusing them of wiping out the Houthis' motto inside the wall of the mosque in the village. An unknown person has wiped out the Houthis' slogan at the mosque. 

Al-Nimri said " the Houthis did not care about the health of my father, his age, and his illness,  he currently in jail without committing any crime or charge". 

Al-Nemri holds Houthis the accountable of his father's life, calling them to immediately  release him.
