Tribes halt Houthi campaign to control al-Awd strategic Mount in Ibb

Tribal fighters intercepted a Houthi military campaign in al-Naderah district in Ibb province on Monday.
A large Houthi group attempted to sneak into the strategic mountain of al-Awd in the district, a source said to Newsyemen, adding that the tribesmen had resisted the Houthis before their arrival.
Five Houthi gunmen were killed, and two were injured, two military vehicles were burned in repulsing the Houthi military campaign, the source explained.
The source said that the military clashes are still going on.
There is a previous agreement among tribesmen in the area to neutralize and keep al-Awd strategic mountain away from the conflict, of the all parties to the conflict, but the Houthi militias have breached the agreement.
