Abdulmalik said in a press statement that this number is a dangerous indicator that warns of a coming wave, which may be greater than the waves that have occurred in the past two years.

He pointed out that the water crisis in the province is one of the reasons causes the returning and spreading of the epidemic.

Abdul Malik called on the local authority to act quickly and take the necessary measures to control the epidemic before the disaster.

The chairman called on international organizations to provide an adequate support, pointing out that what are given do not commensurate with the magnitude of the suffering experienced by the city of Taiz as well as do not consistent with the magnitude of the spread of the epidemic.

The latest statistics of the office of Health and Population in Taiz confirmed that 20 have been dead by the epidemic, and 5,125 infected cases.
