Wajdi al-Maqtari, one of the participants in the Security Campaign in the old city of Taiz said on Tuesday that Hashim al-Shami, who was killed by the security campaign and accused by the Islah Party of being a Houthi member and of being fighting along with Abu al-Abbas, was not a Houthi member, and he is resistant as well as he refused the armed militias in Taiz city.

Al-Maqtari said on Facebook "I am sure that al-Shami is not a Houthi, but a Resistant despite lies and misinformation." Al-Shami was a solider in Taiz Security Department (civil Status) since 2009 and he got married to the Captain Iskandar al-Makhlafi's sister.

Hashim al-Shami was one of the member at the Security Committee which was formed at the beginning of the war led by the officer Abdulwahid Sarhan and Mu'men al-Mekhlafi, al-Ademi and others.

Al-Maqtari said that " If Hashim al-Shami was a Houthi why did they register his name in the Security Department lists as a martyr, after he was killed, It has been announced the Command and Control Room of the security Department that al-Shami is a martyr."

On the other hand, the surveillance cameras at the headquarters of Abu al-Abbas Battalions, which was stormed by the forces of the Islah Party, or the Popular Crowd, affirmed the presence of Majid al-A'raj along with the security campaign that raided the old city of Taiz.

Majid al-A'raj is one of the most wanted people in Taiz, and he is accused of killing more than five citizens earlier.
