Outbreak Cholera again in Taiz: Nine deaths

Mawiyah district in Taiz province has recorded the highest number of deaths of Cholera then al-Taezeyah has recorded the highest number of infected cases of the disease as the disease has spread in different areas of the province.
Health and Population Office Director Abdulrahim al-Samai' said to Newsyemen that Mawiyah registered nine death cases, five cases in al-Selw, three cases in Jabal Habashi district, two cases in Hayfan district, and one case for each of al-Mudhafar, al-Shamayaten, al-Taezeyah, Dhubab, and Same'a districts.
He said that that cases are increasing, and reaching to date 28 deaths and 6,202 infected, including 391 confirmed Cholera disease by agricultural testing.
He pointed out that in the coming days 31 clinics will be opened to treat acute watery diarrhea and cholera in the province supported by the International Child Care Organization as well as opening a new center at al-Jumhuri Hospital.
