The Houthi militias fired on Wednesday dozens of artillery shells at al-Ghuraib, Deir al-Yamani, and Qaz'ah al-Dabal north of al-Duraihemi district in al-Hodeida province.

Local sources in al-Duraihemi said the Houthi militias had fired guns at houses, forcing residents to flee because the militias are still targeting their houses.

The sources added that the militias had deployed five howitzer in Deir Hasan and Mahal al-Sheikh villages north of the district, and the armed militias stationed in the two villages, firing shells inside the two villages.

According to the sources, the shelling caused extensive destruction in the houses, asserting that one of the shells destroyed a mosque and completely destroyed three houses as well, while four houses were partially destroyed.
