Governor holds Taiz Police Director responsible for Taiz events

Taiz governor Nabil Shamsan held Taiz Police director Mansour al-Akhali responsible for failing to implement the governor's directives to stop the attack on al-Jumhori and Wadi al-Madam neighborhoods in Taiz province.

In a harsh tone for the first time in a letter, Taiz governor called for a halt the security campaign, the governor who is also the chairman of the security committee in the province had not been informed to launch a campaign in the city.

Taiz Security Director said on Sunday at a press conference that the security crackdown was directed by the Minister of the Interior and the governor of Taiz.

The governor's letter lied what Mansour al-Akhali went on saying, who lead the attack on the eastern part of Taiz city, places where Abu al-Abbas battalions station.

The governor said that he had sent two memos that included an order to abide by the provisions of the laws and stop any practices and violations of the laws and ceasefire in the neighborhood of Republican and Wadi al-Madam immediately and lift the security campaign.
