Military commander defects from Legitimate, joins Houthis

Military sources said a commander of the military Battalion of the Legitimate defected and joined the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
The sources said that Colonel Ali Nasser Hajer, the commander of the second battalion at the 5th Border Protection Brigade defected from the Yemen's Army, and arrived in Sana'a province.
Hajer's defection at his post as the defection of al-Jawf military Police commander post, and joined the armed militias earlier.
Earlier, Mohammed al-Mujannahi, the commander of the Military Police in al-Yatamah Military Axis defected from the Army, run by the Brotherhood's leaders, and joined the armed militias.
According to sources, the Brotherhood elements, who are recently joined the National Army, exercise marginalization against other commanders are behind the recent defections.
