Ceasefire agreement, withdrawal of Abu al-Abbas battalions from Taiz concluded

A Truce Committee was concluded a new agreement to cease the fire and the withdrawal of the gunmen of Abu al-Abbas Battalions from the old city of Taiz to al-Kadaha military front in al-Ma'afer district, south of Taiz province.

The Committee has agreed with a commander of the third battalions of Abu al-Abbas Mo'men al-Mekhlafi to ceasefire and withdraw all gunmen of Abu al-Abbas' gunmen from the old city of Taiz to al-Kadaha.  

The truce stipulated that the Fifth brigade will safeguard the old city of Taiz and its surroundings and secure the withdrawal of Abu al-Abbas battalions from the city towards al-Kadaha in al-Ma'afer.  

Taiz Undersecretary Aref Jammel said on Thursday Abu al-Abbas battalions has received the accused people of killing Captain Mahmoud al-Humaidi to al-Bab al-Kabeer Police Station.

Earlier, the Brotherhood's militias launched a fierce attack and shelled tanks and artillery on the old city of Taiz, causing dozens of deaths and injuries.
