Sources: citizens were forced to speak before militias' media

The old city of Taiz closed before media, and it opened only before the Brotherhood Popular Crowd militias that forced citizens to talk about the violations of Abu al-Abbas.

Newsyemen sources in the old city said that kidnappings campaign are carried out against people, accusing them of being members of Abu al-Abbas battalions.

The militias also forced citizens to make statements to the Islah Party's media, Newsyemen quoted citizens as saying.

The militias of the Popular Crowd targeted al-Bab al-Kabeer areas, including citizens' houses which were directly hit by shelling or bullets.

The Popular Crowd has caused great damage to houses of the inhabitants in the Old City, which have been hit by bullets and shells from various weapons.

The citizens demand an impartial inquiry committee into violations they were subjected to.

AbdulRahman al-Selwi said he was forced to take his family out after he saw heinous violations committed by militias of the Popular Crowd.

Um Udai al-Mekhlafi, who stood in front of the Media while she was shouting, that the government, referring to the militias of the Popular Crowd, shelled before her house towards the old city of Taiz.

Another woman said the militias stormed her house, she was accused that her son of being a member of Abu al-Abbas.

She added her only son fled yesterday evening, fearing his arrest, denying that he was one of the recruits at the ranks of Abu al-Abbas.
