Houthi militias capture 189 trucks carrying international aid in " illegal Customs Office of Ibb"

The Houthi militias have captured hundreds of trucks loaded with international food aid for nearly a month in the central province of Ibb.

According to an official document issued by the United Nations World Food Program, the Houthi militias have captured 189 truckloads of humanitarian aid in Ibb province for 22 days.

A source at the relief organization said to Newsyemen that the trucks carrying food aid provided by the World Food Program, and other international humanitarian organizations.

The trucks include tons of wheat and flour, which was to be distributed to the affected or internally displaced persons in the most Yemeni provinces, according to data for relief organizations.

According to the Newsyemen sources the Houthi militias seized trucks in a Customs Clearance Office created in Ibb province, violating the Constitution and Yemeni law.

The Sources added that the Houthi militias refused to cross the trucks of international relief aid, demanding funds "Customs Duties".  The Militias also asked to be in charge of the delivery of aid so as to be distributed by themselves.

The sources warned the Houthi militias of intending stealing food aid and depriving the hungry and the affected.
