Houthi militias abduct five women, including three children for ransom

The Houthi militias kidnapped five women, including three children and an old woman in a checkpoint in al-Kadan area, north of al-Hodeida city, before releasing three of them in return of a ransom,  rights source said.

Rights sources added that the Houthi militias kidnapped Fatem Ahmed Shuraibah, 72, Gaberah Hasan Awad, 30, children are, Halimah Qasem Hebah, 4, Rahmah Qasem Hasan Hebah, 5, Faten Talal Hasan Hebah, 5,.

The old woman started a hunger strike despite her chronic illness and her need for treatment, the sources said, adding that their detention caused them psychological torture, including looting of their money.
