Houthi militias trial 65 women amid their disappearance at secret prisons

The Houthi militias in the Capital Sana'a began a trial of 65 abducted  women amid great silence.  

A judicial source said that a number courts, run by the armed militias backed by Iran, have begun hearings on women detained after more than a year of arrest, torture, enforced disappearance and blackmail of their families.

The sources added that formal trial sessions began amid media silence, in violation of legal procedures and the absence of human rights organizations, and that some detainees are being held without a lawyer.

More than 160 women are held in secret insurgent camps in the Capital Sana'a and are being subjected to the worst forms of blackmail, exploitation and psychological and physical abuse.

Yemeni Organization to Combat Human Trafficking (YOCT) disclosed months ago that the Houthi militias had detained dozens of women in secret prisons in the Capital Sana'a, run by Houthi leaders. The women were framed for fabricated and unethical issues
