UAE Red Crescent finances al-Qataba Water Project in al-Khukha, al-Hodeida

The UAE Red Crescent Authority launched a Strategic Water Project in al-Qataba area in al-Khukha district, south of al-Hodeida province amid its rapid response to meet the needs of people of the West Coast of Yemen.
" This strategic project is one of the most important projects being implemented in the district to reduce the suffering of families lacking of drinking water," Mohamed Salim al-Junaibi, The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, , Director of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen said.
The project included the rehabilitation of an artesian well, a 100,000 - liter water tank, and a water net length a 36,000, and integrated solar system.
Al-Khukha Local Council General Director said that the Project in al-Qataba in al-Khukha district would serve more than 15,000 people in the area.
