Three civilians, including a woman, were killed and two others injured in Houthi landmines in a number of districts in al-Bayda province, central Yemen.

A local source said to Newsyemen an explosive device was planted by the Houthi militias in Thi-Kaleb area in al-Quraishyah district in al-Bayda province, killing Ahmed Naji Abu Suraimah and Malek Ali Rashed al-Asri.

The source added another landmine was planted by the Houthi militias in Shawkan area in As-Sawma'ah district in the same province, killing an elderly woman, Huda Abdulnabi al-Saberi, while she was grazing the sheep.

The Houthi landmines also severely injured two children in As-Sawadiyah district in al-Bayda on Tuesday, the source said.

Hundreds of citizens, mostly women and children, have been victims of mines and improvised explosive devices planted by the Houthi militias in al-Bayda districts since the coup militias invaded the province in 2014, and many have been shot by bullets of the Houthis snipers in many areas in the province.
