A battle of "Cut the Vein" launched by the Brotherhood last Friday, ended in the outskirts of Taiz city, central Yemen, ended without any a military advance.

The battles and mutual artillery shelling between the Brotherhood, within the army, and the Houthi militias begin at 4 am and end at 8 am north and west of Taiz city, accompanied by a media pump at the Brotherhood media outlets on social media.

The activists expressed their regret for the deaths of 20 martyrs and about 50 wounded in the show battles without a military target ignited by the Brotherhood leaders every year to liberating Taiz, and ending the siege of the Houthi militias on the city, contrary to objectives of the battles, without military advances in several fronts of Taiz city.

Taiz activists on Social Media mocked at the monsoon battles in Taiz city, indicating that such battles are to set free the fiscal covenant that the Brotherhood used to run it for the third consecutive year in Ramadan.

Two months ago, military leaders of the Brotherhood in Taiz received Y.R 5 billion under the pretext of liberating Taiz province. Their aim behind the current battles are to inform the government and the Presidency that they had implemented the agreed plan.
