Attack hits gas pipeline in Rudum district, Shabwa

Unknown assailants detonated a liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipeline at the Rudum district in Shabwa province, southeastern Yemen, on Wednesday.
Clouds of black smoke were seen due to the blast.
A security source said to NewsYemen that the subversive elements carried out the liquefied gas pipeline bombing in Ayn Ba-Ma'abad in Rudum district, without knowing the identity of the perpetrators of the sabotage terrorist attack
The incident comes after days of tension in Ataq city, the capital of Shabwa province, between Shabwa Elite Forces and Forces loyal to the Islah Party.
It is worth to mention it that subversive elements also blew up an oil pipeline in al-Rawdah district two days ago.
