In recent weeks, the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, have retaken new sites in some military  fronts led by the Islah Party in Taiz city, central Yemen.

Forces of the so-called Popular Crowd, loyal to the Brotherhood, lost important military sites in air defense front west of Taiz city after the Axis Command announced a military operation called " Cut the Vein" operation, despite financial support by the Arab Coalition.

The Air Defense Camp is a point of contact between the Popular Crowd and the Houthi militias in Taiz, a year and a half ago, a series of hills and interconnected mountains. Recently, Air Defense front was supervised by the Brotherhood leaders.

Witnesses said to Newsyemen that new sits of the Houthis enabled them to snip into the depth of Taiz city, including al-Haseb area. It was impossible for the militias last year to shoot civilians, before the Brotherhood took command of the front.

The Houthi militias intensified shooting and sniping civilians in Bir Basha, Taiz old Airport and al-Nour city in Taiz province.

The new sites seized by the armed militias backed by Iran gave a fire control on large parts of Taiz city, bringing the city back into a war square.

The Houthi militias escalated on the eastern and northern fronts, Zaid al-Mawshaki and al-Shammasi neighborhoods, the Houthi projectiles could also reach Taiz old city.

The fake battle " Cut the Vein " have given Houthis new advantages to circle Taiz city and turn it into a battlefield after fighting has been confined in its outskirts for almost two years.
