Informed sources at the World Food Program in the capital Sana'a disclosed to NewsYemen that the Houthi militias are negotiating with one of the officials at the WFP amid recently differences between the two parties.

In contrast to the accusations campaign led by the Houthi militias against the WFP, the sources confirm that negotiation process are conducted by the militias leaders in Sana'a with the WFP officials to resume relief assistance provided by the program in accordance with the conditions put by the militias on the WFP in order to control and seize aid as in the previous period.

The WFP is seeking to correct the imbalances accompanied the distribution of relief aid to people in the areas controlled by the Houthi militias after the WFP finds the largest robberies and looting carried out by the militias.

The WFP seeks to implement an electronic system cards and fingerprint system that will prevent the militias or their leaders to control the aid distribution.

According to sources who spoke to NewsYemen, the Houthi militias claim that these measures are one of the means of spying practiced by the WFP. The militias agreed to use the WFP system and its new mechanism but the militias want the Database Server headquarters that will be collected at the National Relief Authority, established and controlled by the militias, which was firmly rejected by the WFP.

According to the sources, if the WFP agreed to be a Database Server with the Houthi Relief Authority, it would deepen the corruption and thefts that will carried out by the Houthi militias; thus, the WFP would provide the largest service to the militias to tamper with relief assistance.

The sources also said that the Database Server for eligible beneficiaries include all eligible data, who need relief aid, in all Yemen's provinces as well. Thus, handing over to the Houthi militias the Server would lead providing security information to militias that might use them to liquidate their opponents that the World Food Program could not accept it.

The World Food Program has accused the Houthi militias of stealing aid and delivering the aid to their elements and depriving thousands of those in need.

It is worth to mention it that the most of the assistance provided by the World Food Program is provided by the Arab Coalition countries, led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
