Abu Awjaa Forces fire bullets to disperse demonstrators

A demonstration was held in Sayoun city in Hadramout province, southeastern Yemen supporting the steps of the Southern Transitional Council to deploy Hadhrami Elite forces in valley districts, especially after the collapse of the security system and the high level of assassinations of citizens.
The mass rally started from Algiers Street, the longest street in the city of Sayoun to the square of Sayoun Palace.
The demonstrators chanted slogans calling for the departure of Forces of the First Military Region and replacing the Hadhrami Elite Forces instead.
According to eyewitnesses, the Military Command of the Chief of Staff of the First Military Region Yahya Mohammed Abu Awjaa was passing near the demonstrators in the public market to provoke them, and his soldiers accompanying them fired bullets on air to disperse them.
During the demonstration, the participants listened to a voice message by the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Maj. Gen. Aidarus al-Zoubaidi, in which he called on the people of Hadramout to remain steadfast and patient until the armed terrorist elements will be defeated.
It is worth mention it that the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout province recently formed 26 community committees within the districts of Wadi, valley, Hadramout, seeking to serve and identify the society so as to solve problems in various ways and levels.
