The Yemeni students in India's universities rejected a Student Entity that was formed by the Islah party, the Local Branch of Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen,  to plagiarize a title as " the Yemeni Student Union in India".

In an official letter to the Yemeni ambassador to India, Yemeni students in Bangalore and Hyderabad, the largest proportion of Yemeni students in India, said they were surprised by the formation of an entity that included elements loyal to the Islah party.

They called on the Ambassador, the Consul and the Cultural Wing to define a clear position from these formations belonging to one political party, referring to the Islah Party, stressing that it does not serve the Yemeni student, neither near nor far, but serves political calculations for a certain party.

In a statement, around 4,000 students in India stressed that they did not recognize this formation because it was built on political, regional, partisan and racist bases. It is not intended to contribute to solving the problems of students in Indian universities, and to provide union services to alleviate their suffering.

A group of young Islah Party are studying at a university outside the city of Delhi met and formed an entity called the Union of Yemeni Students in India, without elections and without reference to Yemeni students in Indian states and their cities, students told NewsYemen.
