A court under the control of the Houthi militias in Sana'a on Tuesday sentenced 30 kidnapees to death in the militias' prisons, a case known as the 36th case.

According to a human rights source, the Specialized Criminal Court issued a "death sentence" for 30 kidnapees, including Professor of linguistics at the University of Sana'a, Prof. Yousef al-Bawab, 29 others, while six abductees have been acquitted.

He added: "The acquittal of six of the abductees came under pressure and embarrassment, after we have provided evidence that they are abducted from 2015, while the charges against them were committed in 2016 while they are in prison".
