Armed gang in al-Abr international Road kills man, injures his daughter, seizes all possessions

An armed gang killed a passenger and wounded his daughter and looted his car on al-Abr road linking Marib province with al-Wadeeah border towards Saudi Arabia.
Activists on social media widely shared pictures of the man who was killed on the roadside after a bullet hit his head. The armed gang hit the victim's daughter with a live bullet in her hand, the sources said. The armed gunmen seized the victim's car and his money then they fled.
Armed gangs deploy along the international crossing road linking Yemen to Saudi Arabia and carry out acts of banditry against the passengers, amid the official complicity of the Marib Authority loyal to the Brotherhood.
In June, passengers complained that they had been stolen by a group of masked gunmen on the Marib line, intercepted their way, looted their money, their mobile phones and their personal documents.
Ahmed al-Jabri, a civilian, said on Sunday that he and a group of his family were shot in the road before their car intercepted by five masked gunmen and looted their money, as well as cell phones.
He added the masked gunmen released them after they stole all their money and their possession, pointed out that the incident took place about ten kilometers from the Legitimate Forces checkpoint.
According to the soldiers' testimony, as reported by al-Jabri, the security authorities in Marib release the bandits from prison, and it is a partner to them.
