Arab coalition thwarts Houthi attack on commercial ship in Red Sea ..

The Arab Coalition announced on Monday that its forces had dealt with a Houthi booby-trapped boat while it was aiming to  target a merchant ship on the Red Sea, western Yemen.

The Coalition spokesman Col. Turki al-Maliki confirmed that Coalition forces are hunting Houthis who threaten maritime navigation.

Colonel al-Maliki said in a press conference in Riyadh that the Coalition continues to neutralize the qualitative capabilities of the Houthis, adding that "the coalition repulses the Houthi missiles and Houthi drones.

He revealed that "the Coalition destroyed several stores of missiles and weapons of the Houthi militias."He pointed out that "the Houthi militias continue to violate international humanitarian law and the Stockholm agreement.

Al-Maliki said that "the militias deliberately choose their weapons stores along with civilian sites." al-Maliki accused the Houthi militias of targeting civilians in the first degree."

He stressed that the Coalition focuses on humanitarian work in Yemen, in addition to continuing operations aimed at eliminating the Houthi coup in Yemen.
