Houthi militia Resumes Heavy Shelling in Eastern Saleh and 7 July in Hodeidah city

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen resumed heavy shelling on Monday evening, September 2, 2019 in Hodeidah city, targeting joint forces positions in the east of the city with heavy and medium weapons.

 According to field sources, the shelling by the Houthi militias targeted locations where the joint forces are stationed in the  east of the city of Saleh and other sites on July 7th Street east of Hodeidah.

 The sources pointed out that the militias used artillery shells Hauser artillery and B10 artillery, as well as targeted sites Pika rate weapon and weapon 14.5, in addition to light weapons and sniper weapons.

 During the day, the Houthi  militias targeted joint forces positions north of Hays district, south of Hodeidah, using heavy artillery shells and various weapons on Monday noon.

 Military sources in Hays reported that the militias fired artillery shells towards the positions of the joint forces, where mortar shells landed near positions north of the Directorate.

 According to local sources, Houthi militias targeted residential neighborhoods in the city of Hays with an AT-23 weapon intensively and violently and caused fear and terror among the population.

 The militias had earlier shelled residential neighborhoods in Hays with artillery shells and landed on houses and damaged them, while other shells fell on the farms of citizens on the outskirts of the Directorate.
