Al-Qaeda controls of “Al-Wadi’" hometown of President Hadi

Al-Qaeda took control on Sunday of al-Wadi’ district, the hometown of the interim president, Abdu Rabbo Mansour Hadi, in Abyan governorate, southern Yemen.

 Local sources said that al-Qaeda terrorists took control on Sunday morning, of the town of Al-Wadie in Abyan, which was controlled by armed groups loyal to President Hadi, and Islah, the local branch of the Brotherhood.

 Earlier, the militants blew up the headquarters of the security belt forces in the "Akkad" area under the control of forces loyal to the government of Abdu Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and the Muslim Brotherhood, in the governorate of Abyan.
