UAE crescent aids Houthi terror victims in southern Hodeidah (video + photos)

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Red Crescent Society has provided emergency shelter and food aid to survivors of the Houthi militia terrorist massacre on their homes south of Hodeidah.


The representative of the UAE Red Crescent in the west coast of Yemen, said that the Crescent received an emergency distress call from the competent authorities in the Directorate of Tahita to relief 23 families in the region of Al-Matina found last Friday, in the open after heavy artillery and direct shelling by Houthi militias, killing nine and wounding  11 mostly women and children, burning their straw-built homes.

The Crescent Authority responded to the distress call and erected tents and provided them with drinking water and food.

Adel Mukarshib, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Bureau in Hodeidah, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the tremendous and continuous efforts made by the UAE through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, to provide relief to the displaced and afflicted and provide them with their necessities as well as their generous support to normalize life in all liberated directorates in West Coast
