“Tamdeen Shabab " organizes a training course to reduce malnutrition in Mocha and Thoubab

Tamdeen Shabab organized a training course in the field of community treatment for acute and moderate malnutrition in the districts of Mocha and Thoubab
The 10-day course aims to familiarize 12 trainees in six health centers in the two districts with ways to diagnose and treat malnutrition cases under the age of five.
The trainees, who work in health facilities in Al-Kadiha, Hassi Salem, Al-Gharafi in Mocha , and Al-Kadhha, Al-Raa'a, Al-Ardai, in Thoubab, receive knowledge about the methods of detecting, diagnosing and reducing malnutrition.
According to trainer Tawfiq Saeed, the specter of malnutrition threatens to re-emerge in a number of remote rural areas of the two districts, where children have less access to food.
In some rural communities, have turned into closed areas, with only a small amount of basic foodstuffs, at high prices.
The symptoms of malnutrition are the result of improper diets and lack of access to important nutrients for children, resulting in serious damage and health problems.
