The Indian general "Joha" takes office as chairman of the redeployment committee in Hodeidah

The UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, has announced that Indian General Abhijit Goha has assumed his duties as head of the UN Monitoring Committee in Hodeida, western Yemen.
Griffith tweeted "I am delighted to welcome my colleague, General Joha, who took up his post as head of the UN mission in support of the Hodeidah agreement,"
The international envoy added: "I look forward to working with him to implement the agreement, and I wish him all the best."
Earlier, the UN appointed Indian General Abhijit Guha as head of the Hodeidah redeployment committee, succeeding Danish General Michael Lollisgaard.
