Houthi militias continued on Saturday to bomb and target joint forces positions in different areas of Hodeidah and the south as the militia continued to mobilize in Tahita.

According to military field sources, the militias mobilized dozens of vehicles carrying hundreds of gunmen coming from areas and districts adjacent to Tahita, and stationed on the outskirts of the region.

The militia mobilization coincided with large-scale shelling and targeting of the joint forces' positions north and east of Tahita with artillery shells, heavy weapons and medium and light machine guns.

The militias carried out intensive shelling and artillery attacks on joint forces positions in Al-Durahimi district, south of Hodeidah.

According to military sources, the militias targeted sporadic positions of the joint forces north of the Directorate with heavy weapons and sniper weapons, including LT-23 and 12.7, at intervals during daylight hours.

The sources added that the militia shelled the positions where the forces are stationed east of the directorate with Hauser artillery shells, 120 mortar artillery, B10 artillery shells and RPG shells.
