Masam cleared 1,070 Houthi mines during the first week of October

Engineering teams of the Saudi Mine Clearance Project in Yemen (Masam) cleared 1070 Houthi mines and unexploded ordnance during the first week of October.

 The project's director general, Osama al-Gosaibi, said in a statement published by the Massam media office that engineering teams cleared 372 anti-tank mines, three anti-personnel mines and one explosive device planted by Houthi militias in several areas before they were defeated.

The teams also removed 694 unexploded ordnance during the same week, al-Gosaibi said.

 He pointed out that the field engineering teams of the project since the beginning of pores until October 4 managed to remove 92,459 varied between mines and explosive devices and unexploded ordnance.
